Therapeutic Massage

Carlson Therapy Network is pleased to offer therapeutic massage to compliment the full spectrum of rehabilitative services. Many of our clients are enjoying the benefits from the resurgence of massage therapy. Just ask anyone who has experienced a professional massage, it is therapeutic for mind, body and soul.

Therapeutic massage is the systematic manual application of gliding strokes, kneading, friction and pressure to the soft tissues of the body. These elements combine to maintain health, prevent injury and promote well being. Many clients enjoy weekly massages, but you may design what works best for you.

Our Massage Therapists

Melissa L. Hackett, LMT is a graduate of the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy in Westport, Connecticut. She specializes in Swedish massage integrating techniques of Acupressure, Jin Sihn Do, Therapeutic Touch and Trigger Point Management.

Susi Manheimer, LMT is a graduate of the Swedish Institute in New York City. She specializes in sports massage, deep tissue and prenatal/postnatal massage.

What to Expect

Your massage will take place in a private, clean room. While many clients choose to be unclothed during the massage, you may remove what clothing you deem comfortable. Your practitioner will leave the room while you undress and relax on the table, draping yourself with a clean sheet. The sheet will be properly draped at all times, exposing only the area being worked on.

Where do you massage?

You and your practitioner will discuss the desired outcome of your session, to determine which parts of your body will require massage. A typical full body session includes back, arms, legs, feet, hands, neck and shoulders. Half hour sessions target specfic areas.

60 minute session $90.00

Ten 30 minute sessions $450.00
Ten one hour sessions $810.00
(package payable in one sum payment)

Payment is due at time of service.

Therapeutic massage prescribed by a physician may be covered by insurance, upon request, a claim form will be given to submit for reimbursement. Check with your insurance company for details.
