Carol Bowman

Office Coordinator, Personal Trainer

Carol has been with Carlson Therapy Network since 1995. Just one of the job titles she holds with our network, as an office coordinator she makes the front desk run smoothly and oversees the therapist schedule and patient needs. Carol has extensive knowledge in all areas of insurance verification, billing procedures and reimbursement trends. She graduated from the Danbury Hospital school of Medical Records with an emphasis in medical coding, and frequently attends courses and seminars that enable her to share her knowledge with other network coordinators.

Carol is also part of the Administrative Team of Carlson Therapy Network. She works closely with the billing and network office, and implements policy and procedure to other coordinators throughout the network. Her knowledge of billing and collection procedures and law help patients and coordinators navigate through the sometimes confusing world of insurance benefits.

In addition, Carol is an AFAA certified personal trainer, and a graduate of The National Personal Training Institute. She furthers her knowledge with continuing education courses that help clients obtain their goals in a safe and comfortable setting. She works closely with our physical therapists, ensuring that your exercises are appropriate for your specific condition.

Whitney Christiano

Yoga instructor.

Whitney Christiano has been a student of yoga since 1997, studying at studios all over the world and also alone in her kitchen. Eventually her interest became overpowering, causing her to leave our country and culture to surround herself in the classical yogic environment of the Sivananda Vedanta Ashram in the Bahamas. There she followed the lifestyle principles outlined in the ancient yogic texts and completed her yoga teacher training at the 200 hour level. Currently she teaches groups of adults, individual children, and people suffering from chronic pain and illness. Whitney is also a Licensed Massage Therapist in the states of Connecticut and New York. She genuinely enjoys giving massage, as well as passing on the values to students of her Alma mater, the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy.
