Our hands are marvels of complexity and vital for the tasks of day-to-day living. Because of their intricate structure, when hands are injured they require highly specialized therapy. The Hand Therapy Center offers rehabilitation services specifically for the upper extremities, from the shoulder to the fingers. Therapist owned and directed, we are the only such clinic operating in private practice in the Greater Danbury area.

Our professional staff of occupational therapists (OT's) and physical therapists (PT's) has the training and experience to meet every patient's needs. All of our certified hand therapists (CHT's) have been in practice for at least five years - with a minimum of two year's experience treating the upper extremities - and have passed a specialized medical examination for certification this field. They are required to maintain one-on-one treatment experience, undergo stringent continuing education, and be re-certified every five years. Together, we offer more than 40 years of dedicated expertise.

This experience and training permits us to help patients achieve their highest level of functional recovery. Our goal is to see our patient resume a productive lifestyle as quickly as possible. At the same time, we remain sensitive to financial considerations.

And to ensure the best possible outcome, our custom tailored treatment plans are developed jointly by the referring physician, patient and therapist.
