Michelle graduated from the University of Connecticut in 1998 with a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy. She grew up in Willington, then practiced in California and Massachusetts but has come back to the area because she enjoys the small community of Tolland. Her primary focus has been in sports medicine, outpatient orthopedics and post-operative rehabilitation. Michelle has advanced training in manual therapy of the cervical and lumbosacral regions, shoulder and knee and pregnancy related conditions. "My job gives me the ability to return people to what they like to do whether it is athletes to the playing field, mothers to hold their children, or elderly to regain their independence – and that makes me feel good," says Michelle.

Jonathan Martell

Massage Therapist

Jonathan graduated from Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy in Newington and is nationally certified. He is a member of the American Massage Therapy Association and is licensed to practice massage in the state of Connecticut. What drew him to the profession was how quickly massage can shift a person's perspective on how they're feeling. People sometimes walk into the massage feeling worn down but they walk out feeling like a huge weight was lifted off their shoulders. Jonathan is proficient in western massage, deep tissue, energy work, acupressure and sports massage. He also has a great deal of experience working with people that suffer from Fibromyalgia and repetitive motion injuries in their arms and hands. Jonathan also enjoys working with people that have never received a professional massage before and helping them through what can be an intimidating first time experience.
