Debbie is a 1988 graduate of the Physical Therapy program at Quinnipiac University. She completed all requirements for the National Certification as an Athletic Trainer in 1990 at Central Connecticut State University. Debbie has worked in outpatient orthopedic sports medicine throughout her career and has completed numerous continuing education courses. She took a special interest in hand therapy from the beginning and became a Certified Hand Therapist in 2001. She now concentrates on complex hand injuries, upper extremity rehabilitation, and post-operative orthopedic sports medicine. Debbie manages 2 clinics in Carlson Therapy Network. "I work very hard to stay at an advanced level of physical therapy. I want PROCARE to be recognized as the place that puts the patients first, and provides them with the most current care," says Debbie.


Janice Bryant

Physical Therapist

Janice graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy. She worked in a variety of settings, including pediatrics and geriatrics, before deciding to remain in outpatient orthopedics and sports rehabilitation. A combination of love for the geriatric population, many years of experience in her field, and updated continuing education courses, has made her successful in rehabilitating total joints. Janice works with physical therapy students coordinating their clinical experiences at PROCARE. Janice says, "Now that people are living longer, it brings me pleasure to know that I helped them to be able to fully enjoy their lives."


Anita Hill

Physical Therapist

Anita Hill graduated from the University of Connecticut in 1982 with a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy. She has extensive experience in orthopedics and sports medicine. She joined PROCARE Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine in 2003 as a per diem physical therapist and is now part-time. Anita lives in Colchester with her husband and two children where she is active throughout the community.


Jennifer Roger

Physical Therapist

Jennifer graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Masters Degree in Physical Therapy in 2007. She looks forward to utilizing her clinical and educational experiences to provide comprehensive and evidence based care to the wide array of patients seen at PROCARE Physical Therapy. Jennifer looks to enhance her knowledge by pursuing her interests in Pilates, Muscle Energy, Manual Therapy, and functional closed chain kinetic exercise through continuing education courses. Jennifer says, "It is important that I treat each patient as a whole, not just their diagnosis. To do this I will customize a treatment plan for every patient in order to help them return to their daily lives pain free and fully functional."


Susan Mancuso

Occupational Therapist

Susan graduated from New York University in 1981 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy and has been a licensed, practicing Occupational Therapist for 27 years. Over this time she has provided rehabilitation serviced in a variety of settings including in-patient rehabilitation hospitals, psychiatric facilities, nursing homes, assisted living and home care. She has extensive patient care experience working with a variety of diagnoses and various ages. Susan has refocused her career to specialize in providing hand and upper extremity rehabilitation. Susan continues to regularly attend continuing education courses to refine her skills and proficiency. "I enjoy the unique opportunity my profession gives me to work with patients, helping them as they regain the function and abilities needed to return to the daily and leisure activities they enjoy."


Jon M. Aramendi

Physical Therapist Assistant

Jon graduated from Housitonic Community College in 2000 with an associate in science, and a degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant. Since his graduation, Jon has worked mainly in sports medicine; he specializes in orthopedic post-surgical rehabilitation. He has taken continuing educational courses in Brian Mulligan's Techniques for upper and lower extremities, Kevin Wilk's Latest Concepts for Knee and Shoulder Injuries and further courses on the foot, hand and elbow. Jon came to the U.S. in 1978 from Spain, where he was born. He is fluent in Spanish, Portuguese, Basque and English languages. Jon says, "I give 100% when I treat patients, and I encourage them to give 100% back during therapy."


Rebecca Wengloski

Physical Therapist Assistant

Rebecca graduated from Springfield Technical College in 2001 with an Associate’s Degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant. She has experience in outpatient orthopedic and short-term rehabilitation settings with spine, post-surgical orthopedic, and trauma patients. Rebecca’s varying experiences and dynamic personality bring a great balance to PROCARE. Rebecca says, "It's rewarding to see patients return to all their daily activities after they thought they would never be able to be independent doing theses things again."

Physical Therapy Assistant

Jennifer Picking graduated from Baystate College in 2009 with an Associate degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant. She joined PROCARE Physical Therapy out of college and is excited to begin her career in an outpatient orthopedic setting. "My goal as a therapist is to continue to use the most up to date evidence based therapy techniques from what I learned both at school and at future continuing education courses."


Cara Theriault

Licensed Massage Therapist

Cara graduated from the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy in 1992. She enjoys medical massage due to her prior career in the medical field. Cara especially enjoys working with spine and shoulder patients. She also works as a rehab technician, taking patients through their exercise programs and assisting the therapists. Cara says, "I'm always looking for new ways to relax the patients muscles so they can obtain their full potential while exercising."
